Baton Rouge fire damages home

A fire can occur at any time and can quickly threaten lives and belongings, but preparedness and planning can help residents of homes escape to safety. That’s exactly what happened in a Baton Rouge fire at a home, according to WAFB.

The elderly man inhabiting the Baton Rouge home on Mission Drive was able to escape without injury from a Baton Rouge fire at his home.  When firefighters first arrived on the scene of the Baton Rouge fire, they thought the man was trapped in the home. However, they discovered he had escaped with no Baton Rouge fire or burn injuries.

Unfortunately, his home was damaged as a result of the blaze, the cause of which is still unknown.

Owner found dead, Louisiana fire destroys business

When a fire occurs and there are no witnesses to provide information, investigators have many questions. Questioning and investigations are happening today at the site of a paint shop where a Louisiana fire occurred and the owner was found dead.

According to WAFB, the paint shop was engulfed in flames during a Louisiana fire, and the owner, a 45-year-old man, was found dead inside.

Investigators have not yet revealed how the fire began or whether the Louisiana fire and burn injuries were the cause of the owner’s death.

Man charged in Mississippi fire accident

A man has been charged following a Tuesday morning Mississippi fire accident that killed one woman, according to the Clarion-Ledger.

The Mississippi fire accident occurred around 5 a.m. at a boarding house on North Mill Street. One child and four adults were in the house at the time of the blaze.

A 41-year-old woman died as a result of Mississippi fire and burn injuries. The man in custody was charged with arson.

Authorities say there was no sign of the boarding house having smoke detectors. A crying baby woke one of the adults who then woke other people in the house.
