Fire safety is a concern for everyone because there are many household dangers that can lead to fires. However, sometimes a fire is the direct cause of another person’s actions rather than an accident or hazard.
That is what happened in a recent Shreveport fire, according to KTBS.
The Shreveport fire occurred on Amhurst and Sunset Acres where a storage unit in the backyard of a home caught fire. A juvenile was seen hopping the fence on the property where the Shreveport fire occurred.
No one suffered Shreveport fire and burn injuries as a result of the blaze, but it is under arson investigation.

Seatbelt laws are a controversial topic, with many people believing that requiring seatbelts impends on civil liberties and others arguing that it is necessary to save lives. The number of people killed in auto accidents is one reason for this controversy.
Unfortunately, a woman lost her life in a Baton Rouge auto accident and police believe she was not wearing a seatbelt, according to WAFB.
The Baton Rouge auto accident occurred on Monarch Avenue, killing the 41-year-old woman.
Police believe the woman lost control of the 2003 GMC envoy and struck a ditch. They also believe because she was thrown from the vehicle, she was not wearing a seatbelt.
