Louisiana fire accident cuts access to services

A Louisiana house fire accident caused some residents to lose access to services in the surrounding neighborhood, according to the News Star.

The Louisiana fire accident occurred on DeSiard Street and melted an aerial fiber optic cable causing nearly 5,000 residents, all customers of AT&T, Comcast, or Century Link to lose service to cable, telephone, and Internet.

The Louisiana fire accident destroyed a house where no utilities were turned on. There are no suspects or witnesses in the investigation at this point.

No Louisiana fire and burn injuries were reported.
