Partners E Eric Guirard and Tommy Pittenger founded Guirard Dudley DeBosier Injury Lawyers on July 4, 1994, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The offices were humble and their staff was comprised of only two people. E and Tommy’s desire was to create a personal injury law firm that helped injured people through their most difficult times. They decided they would run their firm as an enterprise and a business, emphasizing customer service, professionalism, and ethics.
In May 2000, Guirard and Pittenger opened a second office located in New Orleans, Louisiana. The office started with one employee and grew to two attorneys with a support staff of nine and a new location in a high-rise building downtown.
After years of representing thousands of injured clients across Louisiana and the southeastern United States, Guirard Dudley DeBosier Injury Lawyers constructed a new office building for the Baton Rouge law firm office. The property sits atop 1.1 acres and covers an entire city block. The $1.4 million building is 10,000 square feet and two stories, constructed in the Italian Renaissance style made popular on the campus of Louisiana State University. Guirard and Pittenger built the new office in downtown Baton Rouge on a previously dilapidated site so they could contribute their own money to the restoration and rejuvenation of the downtown area presently being undertaken by both private and governmental groups. The “E Building” is quickly becoming a landmark for anyone entering the downtown area via Government Street and is being referred to as the “Gateway of Downtown.” The new building houses 16 attorneys and a support staff of 35.
